then the settings provided below

Common Problem: When connecting with Smart
FTP, Make
sure "Passive Transfer" is disabled by selecting the "Tools" drop
menu, then "Settings". Now click on the "Connection" Tab
and make sure "Use Passive Mode" does not have a tick next to it.

1. Smart FTP is
very easy to use. |

You will
need to enter your domain name followed by /httpdocs in the Address
field.
E.g. If your domain name is www.1234.com.au then you would need to enter www.1234.com.au/httpdocs
into the box next to address.
Now enter your Login and Password and then click on the Connect button.
You will need to be connected to the Internet. |

Once you are connected a
remote window will appear with the files located in your webspace. you
will now need to open a local window as
well so you can choose which files you want to copy from your computer
to the web server. |

Now that all windows are
open like in the image below you can drag and drop folders and/or files
from your computer
to the webserver. |

Once the screen looks like this you are ready
to transfer files
